When I was a kid, I remember my mom would record me and my sister with her Sony camcorder everywhere we went. She now has plenty of home vlogs, photo albums and scrapbooks that we enjoy reminiscing through. The joy of capturing memories and nostalgia is the root of where my love for photography, video, and all things art began. My work pays homage to what I grew up on; the colourfulness of the 2000s culture, fashion, and aesthetic.

 

As a creative, I especially enjoy portrait photography. I see each image I take as a mirror, capturing the uniqueness and beauty of everyone I photograph. My goal is to reflect their beauty back to them through my work, as nothing brings me greater joy than seeing them light up with happiness and confidence.
